About Us

The residents of Decker Towers mainaint a duly elected Resident Council All residents over the age of 18 who are in good standing and listed on the lease are automatically a member of the Resident Council.

The role of the Decker Towers Resident Council is to improve the quality of life and resident satisfaction and participate in self help and educational initiatives to enable residents to create a positive living environment for residents of Decker Towers. That the DTRC may actively participate in a working partnership with BHA and outside organizations to advise and assist in all aspects of Decker Towers operations.

Board Update - After returning from a medical absence, Vice-President David Foss stepped down from the Board citing on-going medical issues. David has been a Board member since the founding of the Council in 2023 and has been a significant contributor to our Decker Towers community. We all wish him well with a speedy recovery.

At a Special Board Meeting held September 27, 2026, Bob Collins stepped aside as President (citing health issues) but will remain on the Board. The Board by unanimous vote appointed Cathy Foley as President. Also by unanimous vote, The Board appointed Gary Myers as Vice-President. All Board officer positions will be revisited after the new Board is elected in January 2027 at the annual election. The Board also voted to appoint Victoria Carter to fill the remainder of David Foss's term which runs through January 31, 2027. The Board will fill the vacancy created by Victoria's reappointment after reviewing qualified candidates.
